Neighbours To Battle It Out In Final

Senior Final
The best of luck to the Rhode Senior Team who play Edenderry in the Offaly Senior football championship final on Sunday next in O’Connor Park. Best of luck also to the management team of Pat Daly (manager), Pauric Dunne and Alan Kellaghan Selectors. The game will be screened live on TG4 at 3pm.

Minor Football Championship.
Rhode Minor footballers were defeated by Clara in Clara on Monday night last in the Championship, by a 6-11 to 1-09 scoreline.

Under 14 B Semi-Final.
Rhode under 14 B footballers were well defeated by Kilcormac/Killoghey in the semi-final on Wednesday night last by a 11-04 to 3-07 scoreline.

Under 12 League.
Rhode under 12 footballers got a walk over from Ballycumber/Tubber in the Offaly league on Sunday morning last, the game was due to be played in Rhode.

Ladies Football.
Under 15C League Final.
Well done to the Rhode under 15 team who had a great three point win over Shamrock’s in the League Final on Sunday last, well done also to the management team.

Senior League semi-final replay.
Hard luck to the Rhode Senior Ladies who were defeated by Naomh Ciaran in the Senior League semi-final on Sunday last in Durrow.

Lotto
There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto for the week ending 29th of September for a Jackpot of €15,000. The numbers drawn were 5 15 23 24 The club like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O’Toole’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation. The following matched three numbers and received €30 each

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website. The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on. In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!

Get Well
Get well wishes is extended to all the people of the Parish who are Ill or hospitalised at the moment, especially Nora Dunne. Nora has been Ill for the past number of weeks, but is making good progress and it is hoped to see her out and about soon.
