Rhode Ready For County Final Battle With Old Rivals Edenderry

County Final :

Very best of Luck to Rhode Senior Football Team and Management who play old rivals and neighbours Edenderry on Sunday  next  2.45pm in O’Connor park Tullamore in the Offaly Senior Football Final.

Meet & Greet

Over 150 kids and adults attended a Meet & Greet on Friday night last to wish the Rhode Senior team and management the very best of luck in the Final. It was such a fantastic turnout . Rhode GAA are very thankful for your support and look forward to seeing you all on County Final day !!

U,16 Jersey Presentation

On Tuesday night last in Rhode GAA hall The U,16 team were presented with a new set of jerseys kindly sponsored and presented on the night by former Rhode player Joe Murphy (Leinster Construction) Australia. Joe who was home for a wedding was present on the night along side Rhode Chairman Seamus Maguire and U,16 Co Manager Peter Kilmurray. A big thanks again has to go to Joe for his sponsorship and great support of the club.

Cumann na mBunscol

Rhode Cumann na mBunscol team had a good win over St Brigids national Croghan school on Friday last in Rhode, while Ballybryan St. Padraig’s were beaten by Clonbulloge in Clonbulloge on Wednesday last.

Rhode U,12s

Rhode U12s travelled to Tullamore on Saturday evening last when they played Tullamore in a challenge game.

A big thank you to all who attended the game and to Manager Stephen Darby for having the team in great order.

Lotto

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 28th of September for a Jackpot of €15,000. The numbers drawn were 5 21 25 27. The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Killeen’’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation. The following matched three numbers and received €50 each

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website. The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on. In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!

Get well

Get well wishes are extended to all of the people of the parish who are ill or hospitalised at the moment especially Paddy McCormack and Liam Swaine.

Wedding Bells

Many years of health, wealth and happiness is expressed to former Rhode Player Barry Murphy who got married on Saturday week last in Donegal to Joanne Dogherty from a great Rhode GAA family the young couple are wished a long and happy life together.
