Senior and Intermediates Gain Wins

Rhode Senior footballers got their 2015 campagne of to the perfect start when they recorded a fully deserved 2-13 to 2-6 win over Tullamore at a well presented Geashill pitch on Saturday evening.  The game was well referred by Davy Walsh of Gracefield.

 

 

Rhode Intermediate footballers gained their first two points of the championship in the opening game they had a fully deserved 3-5 to 0-7 in over neighbours Ballyfore at a well presented Croghan grounds on Sunday afternoon.

 

 

 

Rhode Minor footballers gained two points in this year’s minor league on Wednesday evening in O’Brien Park they had a deserved 1-10 to 1-6 over the home side.

 

 

Minor League Rhode v Ballinamere/Durrow Monday 13th in Rhode at 8pm

Junior B Championship Rhode v Edenderry Tuesday 14th in Rhode at 8pm

Under 12 Rhode v St Broughan’s Wednesday 15th in Bracknagh at 6.45pm

Minor League Rhode v Ballycumber/Tubber Wednesday 22nd in Rhode at 7pm

Under 12 Rhode v Gracefield Wednesday 22nd in Gracefield at 6.30pm

 

Offaly Minor hurlers qualified for the quarter final of the Leinster hurling championship when they recorded a 1-19 to 0-10 win over Carlow in O’Connor Park on Saturday evening.

 

 

Offaly Minor footballers play Dublin in the first round of the Leinster Minor championship on Saturday in Parrell Park see Offaly fixtures for time.

 

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto for the week ending 7th of April for a Jackpot of €15,000.  The numbers drawn were 2 17 18 26.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O’Toole’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €50 each.  The lotto this week will be in Killeens.

The Rhode GAA Lotto is the main source of income the club has and now you can play online though our website.  The good news is when you play the lotto online you are entitled to free draws, for example pay for seven draws receive the eighth one free, pay for fourteen draws receive two free and so on.  In other words, the more you play the more free draws you are entitled to!!
