Rhode Senior footballers gained their fifth point in this year\’s league when they drew with Shamrocks in Rhode on Tuesday evening on a score line of 0-13 to 1-10.

Rhode played durrow in the 2nd round of the championship on Thursday last in a game where Rhode were very slow out of the blocks and were 1-2 to no score down after 8 minutes.with the Durrow goal coming from a penalty, Rhode finally got the first score of the game from the boot of Karl Green, Rhode never quite pushed on from here only adding a further 2 points in the half from Dean Cocoman and Ricky Cully, The half time score reading Rhode 3 points durrow 2.4
Rhode came out stronger in the second half but needed a goal early on to get them back into it. Rhode came back to within 4 points mld way through the half.the only goal of the half came to durrow just when Rhode started to settle, which killed the tie.rhode now need to win both remaining games to progress to the semifinal.
