Rhode Senior footballers will take on rivals Edenderry in the First round of the Offaly Senior football championship in Fr.Dowling Park Rhode at 6pm on Saturday July 20th . A Big Day out .

Rhode Junior A footballers had an impressive win over St.Rynaghs in Cloghan on Saturday evening last. on a score-line of 2-17 to 2-10. Rhode are currently undefeated after 3 rounds and stand at top of group 1.

Rhode Junior B footballers were defeated by Kinnitty on Friday evening last In Fr.Dowling Park on a score-line of 1-11 to 0-07 .

Well done to Offaly Senior footballer\’s who defeated Sligo on a score-line of 3-15 to 0-15 in Bord Na Mona O\’Connor Park Tullamore on Sunday last. Offaly will now play Laois in O\’Moore Park this Saturday June 29th at 7pm. On The Offaly Team from Rhode  Anton Sullivan  , Offaly Captain Niall Darby, Eoin Rigney , Ruairi McNamee & Niall McNamee  

U\’13 League Final

Offaly GAA Cul Camps

The annual Rhode GAA Cul Camp will commence in Fr Dowling Park on Monday 15th July to Friday 19th July. The camp will start each day at 10am and ends at 2.30pm. It is a wonderful experience for the 6 to 12 year old boys and girls to play games meet new friends and to practice the skills of our native games. There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 18th of June for a Jackpot of €3,200.  The numbers drawn were 13 23 24 27.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to O’Toole’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €100 each.
