Big Weekend Ahead As Senior Footballers Seek 30th Championship Title For The Club

County Final 
The very best of luck to our Senior footballers and management team who take on Tullamore in this year\’s Offaly Senior Football Final in Bord Na Mona this coming Sunday October 4th at 4pm. It will be a real battle as Rhode seek their 30th and Tullamore their 28th. 
Club Members  Match Ticket Draw 
As Per Government Guidelines only 200 Supporters can attend this year\’s County final meaning  that will only be 100 supporters from each team. As done for  previous games  Rhode GAA will hold a raffle on Friday evening October 2nd. Please Note the deadline of 12 Midday Friday .Members that wish  to be entered into the  draw for a chance to purchase a match day ticket please register  your name to the following

Green & Gold 
Calling all our great Supporters to cover the Parish with colour whether it be bunting or flags. It has been a truly hard year for us all and we need a massive lift so lets get behind our Boys for Sunday and please god the Dowling Cup will be back in Rhode Sunday night.   

U17 B Football Championship 
Rhode u17 footballers were unlucky not to come away with a win On Monday week last against St.Vincents on a score-line of  1-05 to 0-09. Rhode had started out very strong and led at half-time 1-04 to 0-04 . St.Vimcents came back at Rhode and finished out slightly stronger at the full-time whistle

Rhode U17 footballers will now take on Cloghan in Cloghan on Saturday October 3rd at 11am in their final group game. .Rhode have 2 wins and a final win would put them into a semi final 

200 Club Draw 

We are continuing with our Rhode GAA Supporters Draw to Aid our Planned Development for our Grounds . Entering this draw will provide you with the chance to win 1st prize €1000 & 5 chances to win €250 in each draw and there are 5 draws taking place throughout the year. That’s a total of 30 chances to win over the year. The Draws will be held on the following dates while adhering to the strict HSE/Government and GAA Guidelines:

The Rhode GAA Lotto Jackpot is €14,800 and it took place on the 21st of September. while adhering to strict guidelines

Sympathy

Deepest Sympathy is extended to Tony & Marian Scully and Family on the Passing of their Daughter Marie Scully Clonmeen whose funeral took place Thursday september 17th in St.Peters church Rhode followed by burial to the adjoining cemetery.
