Rhode GAA Community Group Notice
Rhode GAA Community Group would like to commend everyone who supported our recent Darkness into light event. It was a terrific success,  the incredible support we received from our local community here in Rhode surpassed expectations. The atmosphere that morning really brought home the willingness of people to encourage and support each other.  There is no doubt the message of Hope and Love is truly present in our community. We would like to convey a word of thanks to the following people for their help,  Brian Darby Principal of Ballybryan school for the use of the facilities at Ballybryan school,  to Padraig Groome and Kieran Dunphy for their generous donations of candles,  balloons and refreshments used at the event , to Paraic Sullivan for his help with the drone and  to our hard working committee without you there would be no event. Also a huge and heartfelt thank you to the families along the route who put out candles and decorations in the early hours of the morning. It really made it very special. Lastly, thank you so much to everyone who participated , donated and those who sent good wishes of support.  A total amount of €5565.82 was collected from our walk all of which will go directly to Pieta House to help them continue providing their vital services. Until next year stay safe , anyone in need please reach to someone for help.
