The Rhode GAA Lotto Jackpot was โฌ8,800 and it took place on the 9th of December.ย The draw took place in The Rhode Inn.

The lotto can be played online before 12 Noon on the date of the draw see the Rhode GAA Website / Facebook / Twitter or Contact your usual ticket seller for details.ย The draw will take place every Monday night and will be live on Facebook between 8 pm โ 8:30 pm.ย Next weekโs draw will be held in Doyle.

The community of Rhode has experienced more than its share of grief and suffering as a result of tragic losses due to mental health. Both Jigsaw Offaly and Rhode GAA are brilliant outlets and supports for us all in the battle against mental health issues and suicide.
On 21st December, 2 of the Rhode GAA senior footballers; Ruairi McNamee and Conor McNamee, will complete 300km over 12 hours by cycling, skiing, rowing and running in 1 hour intervals to raise funds for both causes.ย
They are asking the community of Rhode and surrounding areas to come together and help them by participating for half hour or one hour time slots. Everyoneโs individual distance will be totalled together with the aim of reaching the 100km target on the day.
To get involved you can:

- Join the lads on the day to complete a half hour or 1 hour time slot on a bike, ski-erg, rower, walk or run.
- If you are a business who is looking to get involved you can sponsor a leg of the event. Your business logo and description will be on show during the duration of that leg.
