Division 1 Semi Final:
On Sunday morning Rhode then traveled to Bord Na Mona Faithful fields where they took on Ferbane/Belmont in the A semi final unfortunately it wasn’t to be for our young footballer’s as Ferbane won out on a score-line 5-06 to 1-02 .
Our U,14 footballer’s put in great performance over the weekend and while they will be disappointed they can hold their heads high. Over all it was a very positive for our under-age club as it not every day you get to an A semi final and finish up in the top four teams of the Division 1 Offaly Feile.
Ferbane/Belmont went on to win the Division 1 Feile beating Clara in the final and we wish them well in the National Feile.
A big thank you to the mentor’s who looked after the team at the weekend Cathal Smith, Michael Kennedy, Dickie Conroy and Jimmy Hannon .
Also to the parent’s who gave great support to the team over the weekend as always it couldn’t be done without you.
