CLG-Bord Na nOg Rod 5k Family Fun Run/Walk
A great crowd took part in the second annual family fun run/walk on Saturday morning last . It was a great turnout in support of our under-age footballers and Rhode/Croghan Lourdes and it was a great social occasion also for parents and supporters to come together and have a chat with lovely home made buns and cakes and off course a cup of tea back at the GAA grounds afterwards. It was a very warm warning and luckily there were water stops along the way massive thanks and credit to Margaret Murphy and Annette Masterson who were also on hand and as you got over the hill at Tubberdaly Castle Bridgie and Benny Kerrigan were on hand with water ad treats for kids and the older kids also. Great to see such community spirit by you all well done and thanks.
A massive thank you has to go to all involved in orgainsing the event especially who helped out on the day including all the ladies for great refreshments, Lead drivers and stewards who were wonderful keeping us all safe along the route. A great morning was had by all.
