Rhode Senior footballers will take on Clara in the Offaly Championship Semi final on Sunday  September 29th at 3pm in  Bord Na Mona O\’Connor Park Tullamore.

Appointment Of Full-Time National  Schools Coach 
We are very pleased to have Calum Stewart as a full time Coaching Officer in our National schools for the upcoming year.  Calum has been appointed by Offaly county board and his post is fully funded by Rhode GAA. Both boys and girls from both schools will benefit from his knowledge and experience and will be implemented with the close cooperation of our National schools curriculum.  Details will be forwarded in due course by each school at their convenience .

U13 Football Quarter Final 
Very best of luck to our u;13 footballers and management who take on Edenderry in the Offaly U13 A Quarter Final this Wednesday September 25th at 7:30pm in Gracefield. 

U\’11 Football Blitz. 
Rhode U\’11s  held a blitz on Sunday, where we had over 140 children playing from the 4 provinces of Ireland,the skills on display on the day was great to watch by the hundreds who attended,its a credit to all the kids who togged out in such conditions and of course to the parents.thanks to all the teams who traveled who helped to make this the success it was.special thanks to our minor chairman Stephen Darby for hes hard work on the day also thanks to all the parents who helped out on the day . Thanks also to Minor club secretary Tracey Murphy/ Club PRO Robert Kellaghan for their help leading up to the blitz also Declan cox for the sound system , Community Centre for the tables and chairs and Pat McManus for the marquee.    

U\’7 Footballers
Great display of football by our U’7’s on Saturday Three teams lined out for us and played matches against ferbane Belmont, ballinamere durrow and kilcormac killoughey. 

Junior C County Final

Well Done to our own Club Man Bill Glennon who on Sunday last refereed the Junior C County final. A fantastic achievement which shows your hard work is paying off.  

 

Seamus Darby About That Goal Book Launches: 
Offaly and Rhode Legend Seamus Darby has released his AutobiographyAbout That Goal a few weeks ago and can be purchased in our local shops. He is having a number of book launches with the final one in Rhode.

Lotto 

There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto Draw that took place on the 16th of September for a Jackpot of €5,800.  The numbers drawn were 7 16 23 24.  The club would like to thank all those who supported the draw and thanks to Doyle’s for the use of their premises and for their help and cooperation.  The following matched three numbers and received €200.
