Cycle 4 Dreams
On the 21st April 2020, former All Ireland winner, Offaly and Rhode footballer Stephen Darby and former Offaly and current Rhode footballer Paraic Sullivan, take on a five day continuous cycle in aid of the Make A Wish Foundation and Rhode GAA club.
With proceeds from the event being split 50/50, this event will bring joy and happiness to those who need it most and also help provide vital funds to ensure the growth and progression of our wonderful club.
The continuous cycle will start on Fahy hill and will mean one of the two men will be on the bike at all times for the 5 days. They will take off in 6 hour sessions on a selected route and tag the other back in once the 6 hours is up. They will work throughout the night and on their final 6 hours they will arrive back in the village together.

Mary Smullen Stay Safe
We hope all in our community are keeping safe and well. We urge you all to play your part in this war against the invisible virus. Please observe social distancing advice and follow guidance from government, HSE and reliable sources. There is much scaremongering and false information doing the rounds also, so be careful and use good judgement. Look after yourself, your family and your neighbours. Especially those who are at greater risk. If you or someone you know, needs some help with getting groceries or medication, speak to members of our club and we will do our best help out.
