Rhode Senior Footballers
Rhode Senior footballers had a fantastic win over Ferbane 4-12 to 3-13 . It was a tough battle from start to finish but Rhode were worthy winners to gain a second place spot in the group. Rhode will now play Shamrock’s in the Quarterfinal on the weekend of 2/3rd of October. I normally don’t do this but I can let it pass by mentioning Niall McNamee who scored his highest individual tally for Rhode (3-08) against Ferbane yesterday. They were 70th, 71st & 72nd goals for Rhode. Also his 5th time to score a hatrick on the championship. What mighty Stats (Credit to P.Donegan Plain of the Herbs)

Junior A footballers
Rhode Junior A footballers got their second win of the championship against Ballinagar on a score-line of 2-14 to 1-13 on Saturday afternoon last. Rhode will now play Tulach Mhor in the Quarterfinal on the weekend of 2/3rd October.

Junior C Footballers
Rhode Junior C footballers were beaten on Friday evening last at home by Cappincur 2-15 to 0-13. The score-line does not justify the good performance Rhode put in throughout the game and were unlucky not to get further scores. They still qualify for the Quarter-Finals where they will play Tubber away .
