There was no winner of the Rhode GAA Lotto for the week ending 27th of April for a Jackpot of €15,000. The numbers drawn were 12 14 26 29. Rhode Senior footballers collected their eighth point in this year’s league when they recorded a 2-10 to 0-2 win over Tubber in Tubber on Wednesday evening.
Rhode’s division 3 league team were beaten by Clara in Clara on Thursday night last on a 1-15 to 0-3 score line.
The best of luck to the Offaly Minor footballers who play Kildare in the Leinster Minor championship on Wednesday evening at 7.15pm in O’Connor Park.
Well done to the Offaly Ladies footballers who for second time in three years when they recorded a great 3-7 to 1-8 win over Limerick. Special congratulations to all the Rhode girls who were on the team and panel.
Sympathy is extended to the Groome family of Garr Rhode on the death of Margaret on Friday evening. The deceased was a lady of the highest calibre and was a great mother and husband to her late husband Jack and her children. The deceased was laid rest on Bank Holiday Monday to Castlejordan cemetery. May she Rest In Peace.
