Club Membership:
In advance of our underage teams getting back to the pitches for coaching beginning 26th April 2021, all underage players must be registered prior to attending training sessions for insurance purposes. All players should have received a message from team management by this stage outlining how to register on the www.foireann.ie system.
The www.foireann.ie. system is the same system used last year for the COVID questionnaire return to play and you can log on using the same credentials as last year. If you have any issues please contact your team management.
The foireann system can also be used by non-players to register and pay online as a member of Rhode GAA and LGFA clubs. The deadline for general membership has been extended to the end of May 2021.
An option to enter the 200 club draw is also available for online payment on www.foireann.ie and there are options for payment by instalments also available.
Rhode GAA Club & Rhode LGFA have come together under the GAA One Club Model. This means that all members , male & female , will be covered by the same membership system. An executive committee with representatives from both Rhode GAA & Rhode LGFA will look after the administration/registration/affiliations of all the teams required.
Day to day activities like under-age training etc will continue as it always did for various teams. Future fundraising activities ( including our annual 200 club draws) will go towards funding our teams (Male & Female ) and developing facilities for all our members.

Last week\’s Historic Announcement
Rhode GAA and Rhode LGFA are excited to announce a closer partnership under the “One Club” initiative, in an effort to promote our games within One Gaelic Games Family.
A One Club approach sets out a model whereby clubs cater for all family members, both male and female.
Both Rhode GAA and Rhode LGFA are clubs steeped in tradition in their respective codes. Both clubs have seen a growth in participation in recent years and this is more pronounced at underage level.
Both of our club units are excited to apply the “One Club” guidelines to ensure we continue to work closely together in the months and years ahead.
Many thanks to our local papers, The Offaly Topic and Tullamore Tribune for promoting this initiative.

Stay Safe
We hope all in our community are keeping safe and well. We urge you all to play your part in this war against the invisible virus. Please observe social distancing advice and follow guidance from government, HSE and reliable sources. There is much scaremongering and false information doing the rounds also, so be careful and use good judgement. Look after yourself, your family and your neighbors. Especially those who are at greater risk. If you or someone you know, needs some help with getting groceries or medication, speak to members of our club and we will do our best help out
Get well:
Get well wishes are extended to all of the people of the parish who are ill or hospitalised at the moment.
