On behalf of myself (Conor), Gareth, Shane, Keith, Jake and Ruairi we would like to sincerely thank everybody who donated to the event, bought a raffle ticket, attended the event, shared a post on social media or brought us some food on the day. The positive reaction and good will we received throughout the 24 hours was amazing and we wouldn’t have been able to get over the like without your support. It is a true testament to the community spirit that we have in the area that so many people came out to support us and see us over the finish line on Sunday morning.
Some special thanks have to go out to a few people in particular.
Thank you to all of our business sponsors who donated generously and without hesitation.
Thank you to Anton Sullivan and the lads at Ace Recovery for the loan of their recovery boots for the event.
Thank you to Robert Kellaghan who put in some tough hours in the cold selling raffle tickets at Dunphy’s shop.
Thank you to Brendan O’Neill of Hire Station in Edenderry for sponsoring s the hire of the sign for the event.
Thank you to Paraic Sullivan and his team at Mock Media for their support throughout the last month in the build-up to the event. Paraic produced some brilliant promotional videos for us that not only spread the word about the event but also put focus on the importance of mental health facilities such as Jigsaw.
Thank you to Darrell and his team at 121Fitness for the loan of two of their concept machines.
A massive thank you to Gwen Morris, Hilary Lowry, Hannah White, Niamh Kenny and Marie Mc Namee for their help with the raffle, sponsorship collection and general admin on the day and weeks leading up to the event. They worked throughout the day and night without complaint which made our jobs so much easier.
