The best of luck to the Rhode Senior football team who play old rivals Tullamore in the Offaly Senior Final on Sunday in O’Connor Park Tullamore at 3.30pm. It is coincidental that both clubs celebrate their 125th anniversary this year and now they meet in the final. Best of luck also to the management team of Pat Daly manager, Johnny Mooney and Pauric Dunne selectors and the whole of the back room team and officials. The game will be referred by Kilclonfert’s Fergal Smyth who will be doing his first Senior Final so the best of luck to him also.
